Be wary of accepting government largess; it doesn't come free and often accepting it takes away everything that is free.

Are the (R)epublicans getting the message?

House Minority Whip Roy Blunt has resigned. As a typical Washington politician before principled fiscal conservative, he voted for the $850,000,000,000 TARP. Will he be replaced by a like minded libe(R)al or a conse(R)vative? John Boehner, the top GOP leader in the house wants another term, proud that he supported the TARP. (He really likes his job, it is so cool to be in charge, and so easy when you have no principals.)

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who also voted for the TA(R)P, still has his job and is expected to be placed back in his comfortable throne.

Are the (R)epublicans getting the message? No.

Note: We should always put the parenthesis in TA(R)P so we know who was brought this about and signed it into law.

BTW: What does TA(R)P really mean? How about:

Tearing
Apart
Republican
Principals
