You have to give Barack Obama credit for understanding the art of war and applying it to the battles of politics. First, one-time--and possibly future--rival Hillary Clinton is being tapped for his cabinet as secretary of state, now another one-time/future rival is being tucked neatly under his watchful eye into his cabinet: Bill Richardson as commerce secretary.

What enemy future opponent will be neutered next?
