Whoever knows he is deep, strives for clarity; whoever would like to appear deep to the crowd, strives for obscurity. For the crowd considers anything deep if only it cannot see to the bottom: the crowd is so timid and afraid of going into the water.

- Friedrich Nietzsche

Fear Mongering

What else can you call it but the great Clear Politics of fear mongering when they tell you that you should be concerned about buying your drugs from Canadian pharmacies because of terrorists. So concerned, that they may have do stop this money saving venture of purchasing drugs from US pharmaceutical companies across the border, because your health and savings are not as important as the non-competitive environment desired by the pharmas.

When they have made it clear that you should be frightened of making prescription drug purchases across the border and that they may have to act, they tell you not to worry because our food/drug/water supply is safe and there are no specific threats.

Is there a None of the above box on your ballot?

What’s next? Foreign automobiles. We have to assume that terrorists are planning on using import cars to attack us next. We must assume.
