Whoever knows he is deep, strives for clarity; whoever would like to appear deep to the crowd, strives for obscurity. For the crowd considers anything deep if only it cannot see to the bottom: the crowd is so timid and afraid of going into the water.

- Friedrich Nietzsche

There is no time like the present to jump out of the system. If you have been reading the president's budget and listening to his plans, you know that you are being herded into working for the government, as the government designs.

When the profit of your endeavors goes to support those who have little to contribute, it is you who are supporting the government, the policies, the inequities of effort and ability. To rail against the government yet continue your work unabated is to support them nonetheless. If you are unwilling to cut back on your work, the next thing you can do is spend as little as possible, for spending is the fuel of the engine. You must look at your role and ask what you are going to do to stop the onslaught of the government imposing their absolute authority.
