Buying American?

Nowadays, if you want to buy American it is a convoluted decision. Also, if you want to "Buy American" you need to ask yourself if you want to buy a car built by the same people who run the postal service, the financial regulating agencies who brought us our current debacle and the IRS or a free-market operating automaker? Well, if you want to buy a car from an American manufacturer still a bit outside the control of The Great CEO Barackus Obamus, it is time to buy a FORD.

Granted, these are not well run companies and one should be allowed to fail if they cannot succeed on their own, but the government has no business making decisions about who runs a company.

Yes, but they are giving the government that power by coming to them for money," you may say, and you are correct. But that is another reason the government has no business giving them money.

This is all a dangerous entanglement between government and a free-society, but the lazy you-know-whats that seem to make up about half of this country these days not only do not know what "freedom" means, they cannot spell the word.
