In nature there are neither rewards nor punishments; there are consequences.

Represent

That is the role of the president, to represent the American people as protector and guardian of the Constitution. What does our president want to do? Talk to the children when their parents are not present and let them know how they can help him; not America, him and his administration.

How about this: When Barack Obama talks to the children he should tell them he is spending their future, using the resources they should rightfully have to make their America when they are adults. He should tell them he is robbing them of the opportunity forge a prosperous and free future for themselves.

What can the children do for the president? How about if he takes his role seriously, learns basic economics and gives these children a fiscally responsible government instead of a bankrupt future. (If he was a father, we would all consider him negligent because of what he is trying to do and what he has done to the financial future of his family--this nation.) If he cares so much about the children, bring responsibility back to government and deal with their parents who are having a hard enough time getting by and are worried their children will have no hope because the politicians are exploiting and bankrupting the country!

He is not even dealing with the parents in an honest and open way, yet he wants to bypass them and head for the children from whom he is stealing?

School districts from Maryland to Texas are fielding angry complaints from parents opposed to President Barack Obama’s back-to-school address Tuesday – forcing districts to find ways to shield students from the speech as conservative opposition to Obama spills into the nation’s classrooms. [Read]

And what is this about "conservative opposition"? Anyone who understands the role of government, any freedom loving, fiscally responsible citizen would be opposed to this; conservative or liberal...or does liberal now mean following Obama lockstep and conservative is where you put everyone who has any disagreement?

And for those "liberals" who think this is a good idea, would you have felt the same way if George Bush wanted to reach out to the children? Right, so be intellectually honest and consistent.

(This man always says it is not about him...kind of like how you know you need to worry when someone always says, "I'm not lying...")
