At what point does Barack Obama, the President of the United States, realize he is supposed to be a leader?

If he does not have the opportunity to write the history books, history will hold him accountable for his ineptness. But he will be gone by then, having just held the place of the president, continuing George Bush's big government and crony-capitalism policies.
