This above all; to thine own self be true.

The Big Business of Bullying Clear Politics

Of course, the conversation is about Microsoft. What people often do not acknowledge is not Microsoft’s product acumen, but their incredible business acumen. They use their clout, especially in the courts.

Someday, for all countries that are entering the World Trade Organization, somebody will come and look for money owing to the rights for that intellectual property. - Steve Ballmer, Microsoft Chief Executive Officer

He said this to government officials in Singapore, where their Defense Ministry switched 20,000 PCs to run on open-source software. Sure, it is a threat, and part of Microsoft’s marketing program is the Intellectual Property Indemnification Coverage. That’s right; they want you to buy their product not because it is the best, or even good, but to protect yourself from a lawsuit.

Clear Politics — it is everywhere, but will you be intimidated?

Microsoft's Internet Explorer sucks!

Firefox is the best browser out there, and for those so inclined, you leave ie installed.

Firefox also stops ALL pop-ups.

Oh yeah, it is free and easy to use.

(Even some of their employees don’t like their tactics, but love their money.)

Try open office, and you will thank me.
