“Clinton did it, and it worked,” says Chuckie in regard to tapping the petroleum reserve to give a temporary break in fuel prices.

If it worked, why is the problem still here, Chuckie?

The right answer that does not contain the Clear Politics of solutionless babble came from the Bush administration: “We do not believe it should be tapped for political purposes or to manipulate prices.”

Real solutions fix problems. Drilling for oil will decrease our dependence on foreign oil.

What about drilling, Chuckie? A real solution, what do you think? That’s what we thought.
