The natural progress of things is for government to gain ground and for liberty to yield.

Refined Bush

So few people understand that a big part of the reason gasoline prices are high is because of our limited capacity. There is a large group of morons out there who are anti-refinery, which has made it difficult to expand production to meet needs. Bush is going to push for new refineries.

Give Bush further credit for realizing nuclear is a good clean fuel, as he will also be proposing ways to help facilitate the feasibility of dealing with the government in building nuclear power plants. That’s two for two.

There are always those who are going to live in fear of the future, but why we allow these naysayers to slow progress — especially when they call themselves progresses — is a bit of a head scratcher… or a bit of Clear Politics.
