Freedom Not Taught in School

It appears, if you are a student in Chicago area Community High School District 128, freedom is a foreign word. The district voted unanimously to monitor myspace and other internet content posted by students and hold them accountable for their constitutionally protected speech.

Talk about totalitarian government. This school district is teaching children they should expect to be monitored and accept being monitored by government officials. Freedom is not expected or accepted. Could it be the members of this school board have not read or do not understand the U.S. Constitution?

Hopefully, a stand will be taken on behalf of students. ACLU, where are you?
