Clinton Panicking

From the outset, Clinton made it clear that he's still smarting from a "right-wing conservative" attack on him, in the recent ABC TV show, "Pathway to 9/11." Clinton said the TV movie made false claims about the Clinton administration's efforts to combat terrorism and get Osama bin Laden.

"We contracted with people to kill him. I got closer to killing him than anybody has gotten since. And if I were still president, we'd have more than 20,000 troops there (in Afghanistan) trying to kill him," Clinton said.

Quite the hawk, ex-President Mr. Bill. But is something else really going on?

Mr. Bill has had the luxury of his fans controlling much of picture drawn about his years as president, but the conversation as of late has changed a bit. No, nothing radical, but enough to make him realize that history will write enough truth about his presidency that he will not leave the legacy he envisioned.

Bill Clinton is angry because history will speak the truth about his presidency. Truth is good, but not always flattering.
