Got Anything Else?

If the Democrats win control of Congress next week, it will be the result of their party’s singular but sadly vacuous campaign slogan: “We’re not Bush.” [Read]

As the non-Presidential campaigning comes to its close, you have to be comforted by the fact that the Democratic Party has no plans--and the best government is the government that governs least. However, it would be nice if the Democrats had some substance to their being besides bitterness and anger.

Perhaps the most ratcheted up whack job campaigning on television for the Democrats on pure loathing of President Bush is MSNBC's Keith Olbermann. He tirades each night for a change in Washington because of his hatred of Bush, not because the Democrats have something of substance to offer but because they are not Bush, and he really, really, really hates Bush. Reasoned thought requires more than, "I hate him! He's more popular than me and I am smarter. I hate him!" but his show is a reading of lists.

Like the kid who has no friends in school, there is usually an underlying reason they have no friends. Are people going to come together and favor you because of their mutual anger, pity, hatred for another? Those are the people you want as friends? What a pathetic clique that becomes.

Just for fun, if the Democrats do not win en masse, you may want to watch MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann Countdown, as he may off himself on camera. Then again, he should probably just be called Keith Olber-Hilton, as he must be doing this for attention—he cannot be that stupid and pathetic, can he?

Snap. Crackle. Pop.

Aren’t elections fun!

Tip-o-the-day: Vote for something, even if that something is ineffective government.

Do not forget to credit us with universal truth 906: The best government is government in conflict.

It would also be because of pure intentional manipulation by the media, and in obvious colusion to bring the Dems into control of this government. I tell you this is pure treason. We have secret files and information being released to the NY Times to influence public opinion, constant barrage of biased and gross negligent reporting by all but one major tv news networks, contacting and showing enemy propaganda - This shi- is unreal. Anyone that would vote for this blame-American Democrat gang of leftists elitists is out of their mind - What the heck is going on with so many people being oblivious the dangers we face - People like Casey replacing Santorum in our gov and Kerry anywhere near it - how sad
