The Framers [of the Constitution] knew that free speech is the friend of change and revolution. But they also knew that it is always the deadliest enemy of tyranny.

Kerry Proclaims Ignorance! What if...

No matter how you slice it, Kerry accidentally let himself be heard again: “You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

In demonstrating his contempt for all that is military, John Kerry is doing his small part to help clear the field for the 2008 presidential election. Sure, the words are different, but you can interpret his statement as “I will not run for president because I am that stupid elitist out of touch insulated ignorant!”

Thanks for the continual insight, John.

Ponder: What would the left say if a Republican leader stated, “You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you find yourself on welfare.”

P.S. Some will say that it was meant as a shot at Bush, not the military in general. Unfortunately, as much as the left wishes to give weight to intention, actions carry the day.

P.P.S. Should he really be speaking this close to an election where the (D)emocrats have a chance?
