"War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few."

- James Madison

A Bad Year

It is hard to say, but it looks like a bad year for those who expect some sanity from government:

They feds start off with the house taking a holiday for a football game. Pundits discussing whether or not the Iraq "war" is winnable, unwilling to acknowledge the soldiers are forced to fight PC style (those guys could clear the country in three months). Governor Arnold Shitznegger of California wants to take the lead in fighting global warming, unwilling or unable to understand the global climate is constantly changing--he just wants to liked. Idiot blowhards like John “Get my kid a PlayStation!” Edwards are campaigning for the 2008 presidency—yes, the same guy whose 6 year old son looks down on peers who shop at Wal-Mart.

The list goes on, but you cannot allow yourself to become mired in mess. These are no-talents that want to be celebrities, and it is easier in life to tell people what they want to hear than the truth. With that in mind: Everything is fine.
