Power is not sufficient evidence of truth.

- Samuel Johnson

What if?

What if, while the chickens are festooning their cages, the collective we started asking real life questions?

Would we all not want to know if any of our presidential candidates have ever been on anti-depressants? A significant portion of population has or is using these mood enhancers, and as a spate of suicides and murders suggest, the result is not always as desired.

Right now they tell us what they think we want to hear, but why not ask them something about what they know?

Mr(s). Presidential Candidate, have you ever taken any psycho-pharmaceuticals?

The answer is worth the price of admission. If they have, it could be a problem. If they have not, what do they think about the growing number of people who have?

A follow-up question, if they have not, would be: "Would you consider taking these medications while president to deal with the stress of the job?"

This could be fun...in a Clear Politics kind of way.
