More than luck is necessary, but people are still willing to take the jobs in government so perhaps it will go well. We can hope.

Today the Iraq government was returned to Iraqis, and they can do whatever they wish, including asking us to leave, which is not going to happen anytime soon.

The next big step in progress: The interim Iraqi government will start preparing for elections, which are supposed to take place by Jan. 31, 2005. And, hopefully, most of our troops coming home.
